22, 23, 29 & 30, 2012 SHERMAN HILLS WALKING TOUR
We so enjoyed selling lunches to the people on tour last year, even though
it was not a very profitable venture. We want to continue our relationship
with the Sherman Hills Association, so will be participating in a less
ex- tensive way.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2012 OPENING DAY FOR DMWC
Renew your friendships with DMWC members and enjoy the Ballyhoo Foxtrot
Combo as they present music from the 1910’s and 1920’s. Tea
will be served in the galleries following the 1 pm performance.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2012 NEW MEMBER’S
LUNCHEON
Members who have joined since February 15, 2012 will be honored at our
luncheon. We will enjoy a club pro- gram on Sherlock Holmes.
OCTOBER 10 – 24, 2012 PAMPERED CHEF FUNDRAISER
A new fundraiser will be an online Paampered Chef party. All you need
to do is give catalogs to your friends and yourself, they order products
online (we will have some products on display at HSP); and the items will
be delivered by mail to their home or a friend’s home if they choose
to send a gift. A percent of the profit will be given to DMWC. We hope
this new fundraiser will help the Women’s Club. Please support it!
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2012 PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS’
COFFEE
Our first prospective coffee will be held at 10 am. Think about your friends
who might enjoy DMWC and bring them to this informal coffee to learn about
Women’s Club and Hoyt Sherman Place.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2012 GIGANTIC FLEA MARKET
Set up will be Thursday and Friday, November 1 and 2. Start collecting
your fleas now!

This even gets bigger and better every year. We hope each department and
individual will enjoy making a bas- ket and buying one.

EXHIBITION
All our members, the public, and especially the artists look forward to
this event. There is no admission charge. Many of the paintings are for
sale. We hope to top last year’s record attendance.

Women’s Club members love style shows, especially when you have
a delicious lunch. My husband still hasn’t figured out how I come
home from Women’s Club with new clothes!

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 17, 2013 SCHOLARSHIP DAY
The winners of our scholarships and their parents will join us for lunch
and then perform or display their talents. This is probably our most important
day. Please do join us.
FRIDAY, APRIL 12, 2013 MYSTERY DINNER THEATER
Two years ago, this group presented a fun mystery play and a delicious
dinner. The group only does this every other year, so don’t miss
this event. The food will be delicious and you’ll be amazed at the
talent of our mem- bers who are the performers.

INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS AND MEMORIAL HOUR
Please mark this on your calendar as it is a very important meeting for
our club.

Becky & The Ivanhoe Dutchmen.”
